After I make the XML file using VCDIMAGER how do I actually burn my VCD?
I read in a few posts that some command like:
vcdxbuild file.xml
does that. Does it actually starts burning the VCD or what ?

No, it will create a CUE/BIN file combo that you can then use in CDRWin / Nero.
CDRWin is recommended. -
That's right.
VCDXBUILD.EXE is the tool that reads the XML file and the media files referenced within to create a CUE/BIN disc image. You can burn this image with CDR-Win or Fireburner on Windows.
I strongly suggest that you DO NOT use Nero as it doesn't burn these images properly.

I'm using Nero 5.5 for burning VCD & SVCD images from VCDImager and it works OK.
I've tried CUE/BIN images but now I'm using --nrg-file=xxxx.nrg .
