backing up ps2 games ???

Can you backup playstation games the same way as normal dvd movies ??

My kids have use ours all the time and I'm concerned they will scratch them. If so can you still use dvdfab decryptor and shrink ??

Bit wary as I've recently had a hard drive crash and don't want to do anything to send this one into a spin.

Backing up games is the easy part. Getting backups to work properly in the console device is a completely different story.

I'd suggest you do a forum search for "playstation games" and see what comes up.

I believe you can just do a straight disc copy with PS2 games but as mentioned, you'll need a chip in your PS2 to be able to play them.

The best way by far to backup ps2 games is to use dvddecrypter ... iso read mode to copy disk to hdd ... iso write to burn back to a blank dvdr ... works flawlessly everytime ....

As Jimmalenko points out ... you will need to have your ps2 chipped before you can play the backups
