Hello everyone. When I am trying to encode a PAL Region movie, the de-interlacing I apply manually never works. The source video is a home DVD (for example) I am able to do a 2:2 pulldown however, some frames do still have lines (from fades etc.) When I apply the double deinterlace for those lines in the ivtc menu and I encode with Xvid, that frame still shows the lines even though I deinterlaced it.
Can anyone suggest what the problem is ?
By The Way, System Specs:
P4 2.8 GHZ
Abit AI7
1536 MB DDR 3200 RAM
Powercolour Radeon 9600XT video card
Windows XP Pro SP1
Thanks
