I have looked everywhere and cannot find a freeware title that does only two things:
Record from line in and then burn to CD (or CD-RW). MP3 or WAV format is what I am looking for. Anybody seen anything like this?

Audacity can record from line in and output WAV or MP3 (Need Lame MP3 for that). Use DeepBurner for the CD burning.
Probably a lot more out there for audio to CD. Most of the software here is more oriented to video. -
