I got a digital cable box which gets its feeds from RF and it has a RF out as well.
    i got 2 SCART things.

I got a DVD-R with all the stuff there is so i need to know which cable is the best(which of course matches to the whole set)

The TV has an RF in and the regular video input(red yellow whie)

on top of that i want my sound system to blend in but like the DVDR it is fully equipped.

You will get more answers if you put a meaningful subject in your post. Many people wont even read a post titled 'Newbiee" or "Help" or something else equally vague.

The manuals are the best source of information for how to wire things together.

    As a general rule,

Component is better tha s-video, which is better than composite.

Optical output for audio is better than analogue in most cases.

For your TV, if the only choices are RF and AV-in, the AV-in will give you a slightly better picture than the RF, but you will also need the RF connected to your aerial (probably via the passthrough on the DVDR, to allow you to use the tuner on the TV independently of other kit.

Scart is somewhere in between s-video and composite, however you can get scart backshells (adapters) that allow you to run component or s-video out of scart connections. Again, the manual will tell you what is available for your kit.

I know you don't want to, but the time has come to read and think for yourself. It's part of growing up.
