Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Question

Does Vegas Movie Studio Platinum have all the cool tools (vectorscope, waveform, histogram) to use when you are capturing, or does that only come with the full blown version of Vegas?

I downloaded the trial version of Vegas Movie Studio Platinum and the help section says they are only available in the full version of Vegas, but I don't know if that means not in trial version of Vegas Movie Studio Platinum, but it is in the full version of it, or whether it means only in the $$$ Vegas (i.e., not Movie Studio).

You are correct! Those are features of Vegas 6.0. However, you don't need those for capturing so much as for types of analysis or editing, for example, color correction, levels correction.
