Hey guys,
Ive got a bit of a problem (not really sure if this is the right forum).
I'm trying to capture from my Sky + box. I am using the s-video out and using an s-video to composite converter (I've got a long composite cable). The problem is its in black and white. There is no problem with the my PC because I tried viewing it on my TV, its still in black and white.
So I was thinking of buying an s-video cable instead. Will this be a waste of money though? Is it likely to make a difference. The problem either has to be with the s-video to composite converter or my Sky + box (I know the cable works).
What do you guys think?
Also what would you guys recommend as the best free capture software?
Thanks.

So how are you making the connection from Svideo (4pins) to composite (2pins) ?
At the connector, S-Video = luminace and ground + chrominance and differenent ground. or 4 pins.Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.
