I have purchased ffmpegx to convert my dvd collection for viewing on my psp. i have been having problems and fear that i have wasted a lot of time. For one, i haven't had any success converting VOB file (created in yade x) to PSP h.264 16:9 (368x208). the resulting file has come out in a foreign language, the audio was way out of sync an another occasion, or the PSP wouldn't recognize the file or couldn't play it. i have also tried to convert to just PSP 16:9 and still no luck.

basically i have had success only once, that was when i converted to PSP and the resulting file came out 320x240 even though the source was 16:9 the video looked squished and of course didn't fill the whole screen.

i have read a lot of posts on this site, but still no luck. i have tried many different combinations while still staying within the PSP parameters and every time something different seems to go wrong. does any one know what settings work? is ther a better/different way to do this?

please, any info would be helpfull. Thanks, GL

i have MTR, Handbrake, Popcorn, yade x, & ffmpegx
