how can I Converting movies to psp

I am having a heck of a time converting movies for my psp. I have made ISO files of my movies and recorded them to a disk. from there I have used PSP Video 9. All I get is an icon of the movie in the video menu but when I play it I get an error that read "This video cannot be played". I have used dvdshrink also to just copy the video to the folder but that did not work either. What am I doing wrong? Is the software DVDFab HD Decryptor worth the price?

PSP Video 9 converts video files to PSP format. It doesn't appear to support DVD images. You will need to convert your DVD images (use original uncompressed images...not the compressed/shrunk versions) to a format (such as Divx/avi) the PSP Video 9 supports.
