Anyone gotten this error message?

Internal encoder cannot multiplex AC3
Ac3 export works only with AVI and Premiere
OK? what the hell does this mean?
All I wanted to do was rip the files off the dvd into wave. I'm not such a fan of this program, I am posting here cause I did buy it last year and thought it would help in situations like now when I need to get this done fast. Please remind me to not buy such useless crap next time(no offense to the developers but you yourselves know that this program is sub-par)!
