No Audio on dvd ripper

Hi

i am currently using a program callled Next DVD ripper to back up all my dvds to my hardrive.However it seems that when played back on the hardrive through my media player there is no audio yet if i play it on my laptop there is audio
i havent changed any of the settings. Can someone please assist.

If the same backup/DVD has sound in one computer and not the other....check the setting in the other computer or try a different "media player" like VLC.

You might want to check the audio format of your rip. Most likely AC3. Maybe one of your players doesn't do AC3. Try VLC media player. It plays most any format. Or add AC3Filter to your PC and your present player may work.
