Need a program to confirm good burns of DVD backups, preferably fast
results.
Some of my backups have gone bad after a few months. I'm using Ritek

Uh, if they 'have gone bad after a few months' you might want to change your media brand.
That doesn't sound like a burner or software problem. Even good brands of DVDs may have some problem discs. -
the only way I trust a verification of a burn is to view the data burnt. if i can read the data back it's a good burn.
this sounds like a media issue. you can always re-backup your originals using quality media.
