Does anyone know of any codecs which don't have a resolution limit, reasonable file size and a good quality picture? I’ve been using Indeo 5.1, but this causes problems when you try to re-encode the file. Any suggestions?

The MPEG4 codecs such as MS MPEG4, XVID, DIVX, etc. with decent bitrate should be quite good.
