I have tried to convert a mpeg4 that has no audio track to dvd format with ffmpegx but I only get an mpeg2 file. When I do this with a mpeg4 that has an audio track it converts to TS_video and TS_audio filed that I can play on a dvd player. Any advice please?

  2. Indeed the process requires also an audio track. You may maybe try DVDSP to make a DVD without audio.

Is there a way to do this without buying DVDSP which is expensive for a one off situation? ( I don't edidt very much DVD). If I add a sound track to the mpeg 4 file ( music for example) will this work? or is there a shareware/freeware that can be used?
