i have these 2 avi files saved on my computer and about a year ago i converted them into mpeg for a vcd with TMPGEnc 2.5 and everything worked fine. now heres the problem, i still have them saved on my pc but i want to turn them into mpeg2 so i can burn them on dvd but after i convert them i get no audio at all just video, and recently my microphone on my pc just failed to work out of no where can anyone help me.

You don't need to convert the video it to put it on DVD, it's dvd compatible as-is. Matter of fact, your conversion is only making it look worse. Drop the VCD-mpegs into TMPGEnc DVD Author, it will resample the audio and make the dvd structure.

oh ok i'll try that, but i also have a live concert thats an avi file and i dont have a vcd of it but i dont get audio trying to make it mpeg, have any idea why this doesnt work?
