I really have two problems but lets start with my main one. When Using Nero Burning ROM i select DVD copy, I put a NON macrovision DVD in source drive and a blank DVD-R general in my Panasonic DVD-R/RAM burner. I even use the check media, and sure enough, Nero says everythings OK, so i start the burning process, with the simulation checked, it burns for hours, the passes the Simulation then goes on to do the actual burning, goes for a couple hours more. finished right? well, No dice. when i re-insert it, nada! i look at it with win explorer and only shows a 1.0 kb wave file !!!! but also says that the drive has only 2 gig left over in the pie chart. I Have tried with diferent media but its the same. could someone help me with this problem? maybe something that should be configured on Nero or maybe even on my PC? already ruined 6 blanks, and still no results.
The other question is with the Hard Drives, I Have two Hard drives installed, and they work, but DATA tranfer read/write is only fast in the IDE-O Primary position, I have tried diferent drives, and to no avail, I have tried every combination, only if the drive is the master, in the IDE-0 will i get data transfers in the 15000k range any other position gets me about 3000k, problem with capturing video files, also very slow . is there something in windows that puts some kind of priority on certain drives over others? oh, yes, I do have DMA checked, and bios ok. etc.
