    i had this mp3 codec workign fine until i upgraded to internet explorer 6 I have no idea if they r related
    Now whenever i try using lameacm in virtualdub i get his message "error initializing audio stream compression" Ive reinstalled it a few times but no luck still

    I have tried some different versions of this codec and all of them don't work in XP as well. I have LameACM090d/lamecom,lameACM-20020121, lameACM-20020202 and I've been unable to use any of them with vdub under XP. Eighter the codec stops at initializing or the produced avi file has no audio(I'm not sure because it shows the lame mp3 is encoded but when playing back no audio is heard).
