  1. Please Help,

Quite new to this so please go easy. I have two halves of a film I want to put together on a DVD-R. I have the software "MY DVD" that came with my writer which seems easy to use.

Now the problem is, when I put the 2 x 800mb files onto the DVD selection window, the software says its over 6.5Gb and too big ???

How and why is this happening, and how can I fix the problem ??

    I would appreciate any help......

  3. I suspect it is converting the audio to PCM WAV, which requires about 10x the bitrate of the mp2 audio in your MPEGs. This (apparently) is typical of lower-cost DVD-authoring packages.

It may also be padding your video stream because it is not multiplexed correctly. You can fix this if necessary by re-multiplexing it in bbMPEG using the DVD setting.
