When I drag my pictures numbered 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. onto the timeline, they go on as 7. 6. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. Can anyone tell me if I can get them to go on the timeline numberically 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 without having to drag them individually? Thx in advance

When I drag in my numerically named photos they appear in proper sequence.
I just tried it out to be sure.
The only thing that I can recommend from experience is to save files 1 through 9 as 01,02,03, etc. so that Windows doesn't place them in sequence by 10s.

Nope, I tried renumbering them 01. new 02. new etc, then I tried 001. new, 002. new, then I even tried 1new 2new 3new. When I select them all and drop them on the time line, they go in as 01. new, then 07. new, 06. new, 05. new, etc...
Is there another way to put them on the timeline other than opening my folder and dragging them there. maybe I'm missing how to do this? -
From Proshow Gold I open the folder with the photos in the 'folder' view'pane and then allow it to load in the thumbnails of the photos.
From there I right click and hit 'select all' and then drag them into the timeline.
Pretty much that's it.
I did check to see if there were any recursive' settings or options but couldn't find any.
