I keep getting a error when trying to burn to a DVD the error is as followed:
Failed in writing data to disc.
I am using a Lite-on DVD Multi Recorder
I am using DVD+R disc
My slide show is 24 min
I tried doing a mini show and I still got this error.
The program goes through all the writing and then it just fails. Is there
something I can try to make this work? I went through the online tutorial and I
am not doing anything different then the one you provided. I have been fighting this for 3 days now and I even upgraded my software thinking that was the problem. I need to have a DVD before tomorrow it is for my sons Kindergarten graduation.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You So Much

You could try using ProShow Gold to create a MPEG (select DVD in the dialogue box) which you can put on a DVD using your favourite DVD authoring software.
I've had so many problems creating disks from ProShow Gold that I always go this route.
Hope this helps -

Oh perfect. Thank you all for your reply I will try these options and get back to you.
I was going through some old archives and someone stated that the max # of slides was 99 the others wrote they could do more then that. So the other uninstalled the program and reinstalled it an it worked so that is what I just did. I am 40 min into the burn @90% so I will see if that worked if not I will go to the next step. I didn't know I could change my .psh format to something more compatible with other software.
Thanks again you don't know how happy I am to see some options!Kristy -
Okay it failed again so if you could point me to where/how I change my slideshow format form .psh to something more compatible with other DVD software that would be great. Once again you don't know how I appreciate all of this.

Once you have the show ready press Alt+M or click on the Video button on the toolbar.
In the dialogue box select DVD for video format
224kbit for audio and click on create
You now get another dialogue box asking where you want to save the video file,
give it a sensible name and folder and press Save.
Once the mpegfile is created use it like any other movie clip in your favourie
DVD authoring program
Alternatively
Press the DVD button (Ctrl+D) and in the dialogue box
select output options and then change the writer to "ISO Image File"
When you press create you'll again get a dialogue asking you where you want
to save the file (only it's an iso file this time).
You can then (hopefully) use ImgBurn to create a DVD from the iso file.
I'd try this first simply because it's easier. -
okay I tried the 2nd option and when all was done it did burn to a DVD and played in my DVD player the only thing is only 2 of the 400 images was on the DVD. Trying option 1 now.
Thanks AgainKristy
