The lowest resolution I can select for my ATI AIW9000 for the TV out seems to be 800x600. My TV can't supoort that bandwidth. The screen shown on my TV is smaller than the TV screen and the characters are difficult to read. My main purpose is to watch video from my PC on TV. Is it possible to lower the resolution to something like 640x480? How can I do this? Thanks.

Control Panel>Display>Settings. Then click on the TV or second monitor icon. If you can't change the resolution and refresh there, then: Advanced>Adapter>List All Modes. Try 640X480@60Hz. (32bit)

Characters will always be hard to read compared to a computer monitor. I run my monitor and my TV output at the same time and only have my player screen on the TV. I control the player from the computer monitor display.

I did this and got 640x480. Thanks. It is still smaller that the TV screen, even with tha maximum adjustments (about 90%). Can yout think of anything else to try?
