This boggles the mind trying to look through all these posts... Could they be narrowed down to seperating them into which player these posts are about? Maybe at least by brand? Or ideally, brand, then model...
????
just an idea!
thanks for your ear.![]()

Learn how to search, just like using Google! It's not hard. No and your suggestion would just eat up more space and who would have the time to enter all the different models? Think about it?

I know how to search... thanks for the suggestion though! I go on other message boards and things are broken down a little better there I guess.... It was just a suggestion. Thanks for your comments.

Other forums may be laid out to appeal to the lazy amongst us, but bear in mind this is Videohelp and not DVD Player Help. Video comes in many different forms and this site reflects that. Not just when video comes on a shiny disc.

There are currently 86 "brand" players across the globe with each company averaging 17 players per brand(some higher, some lower). That's over 1400 forums(Minimum) which would be required to support such an idea. I think searching a complete site is easier on everybody rather than having the amount of forums you're requesting. Plus, with that amount of forums, you will soon find people just posting in general discussion forums because they can't be bothered to scroll through 13 pages of forum listing to find their model in which to post questions to.Originally Posted by LawnCowboy

Aside from that, the forums would be so sparse in posts no one would read them anyway and post in General forums for that reason too.
My A/V hardware: Sony 30" KV-30HS420, Philips DVP642/37, Logitech Z-5500 Digital 5.1, Comcast/Motorola DCT6200, PS2 SCPH-30001 (and it still works!)
