  1. Although this forum is great, I was wondering if anyone out there can tell me how I can make my own little forum. I run an English conversation school out in Japan and would like to have a forum on our homepage so that students can post questions and answers for each other. Can anyone help me...put me in the right direction??

  3. The one used here is phpBB. Just click on the phpBB on the bottom of the page where it says "powered by phpBB 2"

  4. I see that that software is free of charge. I wonder, how easy is it to set up a board? I will be making a website soon (nothing to do with video etc.) and I was wondering if it would be difficult to do, considering that as far as web design goes, I am a total novice!

    Thanks,

I think there are two ways to go here.

    1. Setup the board on your own server (e.g., PHPBB or whatever).

    2. Have a third-party host your board (e.g., ezboard.com).

The hard part isn't setting it up. The hard part is moderation...

Maybe here on a technology-oriented vs. an opinion-oriented forum, but I've heard some horror stories (namely, from the latter).
