so is this site anti-videogame backups?

i thought this site was about helping people converting and backingup dvds
whats the difference if its a game or not?

as long as the person owns the game/movie in question, it shouldnt matter whether its one or the other right?

You thought wrong. As the site name suggest, this site is about video. It is most certainly not limited to helping people copy discs. In fact, that should be the least common use of this site, as video involves quite a bit of work before it ever hits a blank disc.
