    Hey,

    I have a divx file, but the audio is not loud enough.. you can barely hear the talking even with the volume of my speakers at max.. is there any way to get the audio of the file louder?

    if you are playing on your computer you can increase the volume using ac3filter or ffdshow, be sure to select that it decodes the mp3,ac3 audio.

    what about the volume from windows ..

    other than that - you will have to do what Baldrick suggests (or in combination) or demux the mp3 file , fix it (does not require a re-encode though ussually = unless WAY low (which requires proccessing)) and remux it ..

  6. If you're using AC3Filter:

    Start -> All Programs -> AC3Filter -> AC3Filter Config.

    Set Master Gain to +20.
