Hi,
I am trying to edit my wedding-movie using premiere elements 1.0.
The original m2v file, when burned back to dvd using Nero, is of good quality. But here's the problem: I open the m2v file in premiere elements, and immediately (so even without editing) choose to burn to DVD.
I set the quality settings to high (8 Mbps).
When looking at the result on my tv, the movie is very shaky, especially when there is a lot of movement. It looks a bit as if the cameraman was VERY cold when he filmed it...
Any idea what to do to stop the shaking?
Thanks!

Sounds like you have the field order reversed. Try changing that.

Richard,
I selected the timeline, and went to Clip -> Video Options -> Field Options and selected "reverse field dominance".
I assume this is what you ment: it solved my problem.
Thanks! -
Glad to hear I could help. Yes, field order, field dominance, it depends on what software you are using on how it is described. As I am not familiar with Premiere Elements, I wasn't sure what they called it.
