Hi,
Try www.newvoyages.com it worked for me.
KevinDonatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
Which mirror did you use? From what I can see it seems to be in at least 4 parts
-
Hi,
You can download a single avi or get the iso.

(don't remember which mirror)Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
I can't seem to find it, could you help me out? (Sorry, I feel like an idiot!)
-
I think you have to use the torrent links to get anything but 4 parts.
This plan is so bad, it must be one of ours. -
Hi,
Oh I looked and I used mirror 5 - the bittorrent link one. You need to have bittorrent obviously. From there you can get a single avi or the dvd iso's. I recommend downloading a dvd iso as its much cleaner. I believe the one I picked was like 1.5gb. Not that bad.

How long did it take? Was it the one that says it has Spanish subtitles? If so were they a subpicture or part of the video?

Hi,
No I downloaded an iso for one and a avi for the other episode. The 1.5gb was an overnighter because my dsl is in the 200-300kbs range (40kbps avg download). It was an all english no subtitle version.

Okay, I got you now.
I am downloading the first episode as an .iso and it 3.58 GB. I have about 6.5 hours left. Is it just me or does that seem huge? A normal hour long show puts 4 episode per disk. You can only fit two at this size on a dual layer disk. I guess it is okay because the next episode is just over a gig. I will probably put the first episdide through DVD Shrink and burn it with the second episode with a custom menu. This plan is so bad, it must be one of ours. -
Would I get the same full episode by just downloading the 4 seperate parts from the mirrors? I have DSL at 40 kbps but 1.5 GB is rediculously large!!
-
Did you guys (Yoda) ever get the ISO for the Revelations dvd ??
And c'mon Garibaldi 1.5 GB is nothin' :P
And Darth Paris i have not been there yet but im gonna now, but if you are DLing a 3.58 GB ISO i would think it would be more than one EP.... -

Reason I ask is Rick recently stated, "due to the cancellation of Enterprise and the poor showing of the 2002 film Nemesis, Paramount intends to rest the franchise (film and television) for at least three years. (?) 2008, maybe?
Also...
Next Generation stars Marina Sirtis, Patrick Stewart, and Jonathan Frakes have suggested that no more TNG films will be produced. Brent Spiner is also no longer interested in reprising the character of Data.
I dont know why. Only Stewart seems to be working somewhat steady with the X-Men movies.
And Spiner in minor roles here and there.I know Nemisis was a flop but to try and start over with a new crew just doesnt seem right. And I would think Frakes and Sirtis would need the work.
Thanks for info all,
NL

For most of the public a DS9 or Voyager movie would need to be on a fresh start. Most people haven't heard of DS9 or Voygager. My Dad, who watched all of TNG, came into my room once while I was watcing VOyager and he asked me why the Enterprise looked smashed. To most of the public Star Trek is Kirk, Spock and to a lesser extent Picard.

IMO - the Enterprise series killed off ST ....
TNG was mostly very good with some superb parts ..
DS9 i really never liked , Voyager was blowing hot and cold ..

Enterprise may have ended the franchise for the moment, but it had been going down in ratings since near the end of TNG. I liked Enterprise, it wasn't perfect but I thought it was more entertaining then DS9 most of the time.

Andromeda was okay when it started, but I think someone may have been usin some illegal substances when writting later episodes. I think Andromedas concept would have made a good Trek show. The federation could fall, and the show would be about rebuilding the federation while rediscovering the final frontier.

could just follow the foundation series (Isaac Asimov plus others) for a plot line ... though this what star wars and futurama were loosely based on (also - some other "groups")
