VCD wont play in DVD players ?

Hi All,

Here is what I did. I used Adobe Premiere 6.0 to make my video. I then imported it to MS Movie Maker so I could convert it from .ppg to a .wmv file. I them used TMPGenc to convert it to a mpeg file. I then used Easy CD Creator to make a VCD. It works fine on the computer, but it wont play on my Sony DVD player. It says it supports VCD. Anyone know what Imn doing wrong ? Thanks.

I had this problem with turning mpegs into vcds. What it was my mpegs where not in PAL format so they would not play in my dvd player but would work on my computer. I don't know much about your programs but you have to make sure that they are in Pal format. Thats alls I know.

have you checked the dvd players compatibiliy list? on many sony players does cd-rw work best.
