    hey .... is it possible to set a intro that starts when the dvd starts `?

    Yes, read the manual. Its very easy. You can even have a several intros and play them at random.

    Yes, that's called a First Play. Place your clip between the first play icon and your menu.
    When the DVD starts this video clip will play before displaying your first menu.
