OTA broadcast on Fox.
They kept messing up the broadcast - started at 720p 16:9, then went to 4:3 for a segment, then back to 16:9. Some awesome looking effects-too bad the movie wasn't very good.

I've noticed this too. Is this a Comcast problem or are off the air channels (received via aerial antenna) like this too?

This happens on some UK channels too. A friend of mine is trying to record a tv show daily and they keep changing the aspect and way it airs.

In the St. Louis area, it was strictly the local Fox affiliate having problems. Whenever the signal dropped from 16x9 HD to 4x3 upconverted SD on the local over-the-air channel, I switched to DirecTV's national HD Fox feed on channel 88 and it was fine. Needless to say after the third time, I just left it on the national feed.
