I have a 90min video clip.
I the middle of the clip I have a corrupted section of about 2 seconds in length.
Other than Virtualdub,is there any other progs that will let me cut out the problem section WITHOUT having to re-encode the whole thing?

You can convert it to mpeg with TMPGenc, using the source range UPTO the problem, and again after the problem, then use TMPGenc to join them back... But why ? what's wrong with streaming in Vdub ? takes seconds to cut out bad frames...

Unless I\m doing something wrong, when you delete the problem area, you then have to save the altered file and that takes a considerable time.Am i doing something wrong?

Yep, Your doing something wrong? Vdub ?Originally Posted by wee haggis
Did you forget to switch the video and audio to "streaming", before you save the AVI, if set at "full processing" it takes a long time....
Oh, and don't forget to cut at keyframes..
