Using either 10.3.9 or Tiger OS?

Have you tried watching in Safari and opening up the folder: /private/tmp/501/TemporaryItems by using Shift-Command-G? Look for a large recent file and give it an extension of mov. I have yet to go to QT7 but this was the typical "save the stream" safari hack.

Nothing found at that location nor in the directory /tmp/ where Safari also caches
Seems QT7 will work both on 10.3.9 and 10.4 but capturing h.264 streaming is tricky
Here are the details of the stream in question
which was accessed on a deploy.akamaitechnologies.com server via UDP port 6973rtsp://neotest.qtv.apple.com/secure/apr/tiger/tiger_300.mov
Can MPlayer or VLC be configured to stream and capture h.264 streams!? -
Snapz will do it... Kinda. With a realtime capture
