I have DVD+RW discs that were made by the Philips DVDR-1000 recorder.
Using a Samsung DVD-ROM drive on a Windows 98SE PC and copying to a Pioneer DVDR-A03 dvd burner.
Having tried PrimaDVD and Nero, some DVDs copy OK, some however produce an error from the copying software and quit prior to coying any data to the DVD-R discs.
It appears that the copying software has problems reading the +RW disk, even though the error reported is typically a 'Could not Write' or in the case of Nero "Write error on disk image" or similar.
Has anyone got any ideas?

I believe that I found out what was going on...
It appears that the Samsung (and possibly other DVD drives) work to a greater or lesser extent.
In the case of this drive on my system it seemed to get screwed up towards the end of some DVDs.
To be fair, Samsung did not say that it worked with DVD+RW but it seemed to work most of time...
I have exchanged drives and it now seems to work fine... but it still needs more testing before I will swear to it...
Hope this is of some use to others...
