Hello,
How come some Quicktime movies don't allow saving? I help produce a public access show here in Rhode Island called Sci-Fi Journal. I like to download movie trailers for the show. I usually save them and export them from Qtime to iMovie so I can add them to the show. Does anyone know how to get around this? I am using Qtime pro.

well sometimes you can look at the source code for the page that has the quicktime movie and find location of the movie file. Then I just take that and put it into an html file, load the html in ie and right click and tell it to save target as. This works on quite a bit of the movies that won't allow you to save, though there are one or two that I haven't been able to do this with.

Thanks Tigerwolf, I think I worded my original post wrong. I can download the movies to my hardrive and save them, but then some of the movies can't be exported to iMovie. I get a an error message that says "Movie does not allow saving". I can't copy, paste or export these files... Does anyone have this problem. One of the files that's giving me trouble is:

I would appreciate any help thanks.
