Hey all,
Is anyone out there familiar with new HiDef encodes that are showing up on the net from groups like CTU/VFUA/FUQ and so on ?
What I'm after is how the encodes are created.
I can capture the raw .TS streams from my receiver either 720p or 1080i, but what I want to know about is how those are then encoded to the HRHD resolution that I have been seeing on the net as the quality and size of them is perfect for archiving, preserving most of the high def detail at a fraction of the size.
Any help is appreciated.
