I downloaded MF last night and installed it. Gave it a try. Keeps giving me an error about a file it can't find, then starts up. I use the DVD template and I try to drag a mpg-1 video file into it and it won't let me telling me a problem with file format or something. Also it doesn't recognize my pioneer A03 as the recorder. Is this normal or just the trial version? The video clip works with spruceup and Video Pack 5.
Thanks,
Little John

Ulead DVD MovieFactory does not support non-standard formats.... if you tried DVD template, you should use a MPEG-2 file...
try converting the mpeg-1 file to dvd movie, using MF options... -
Are you sure your file is a STANDARD/COMPLIANT VCD 2.0 ? Pls check it again.
This are the standard templates:
For NTSC: Video-CD NTSC (MPEG-1 352x240 29.97fps CBR 1150kbps, Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps)
OR
For PAL: Video-CD PAL (MPEG-1 352x288 25fps CBR 1150kbps, Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps).
Bye. -
The file that ulead is looking for is a "plug-in" that is an additional download from their website. Once I got it, it didn't look for it anymore
Remember when the only way to see a movie uncut was to go to the theatre? -
I finally figured the program out somewhat. now I can get all the way to the recording phase and that's where I have to stop. The program does not recognize my Pioneer A03 recorder. Is this part of the Trial version that it doen't see it or is there something else I need.
Thanks,
Little John
