  1. Hey all, I seem to have a weird problem lately. I switched from printing from my Canon i950 to my Epson R200 since I got a continuous ink system. Anyway, i'm not sure if this is when the problem started but my dvd cover seem to be coming out just a tad too big lately. I get almost all my covers from cdcovers or another site through cover mega-search. Its a pain to have to try to trim down the actual cover and cut off some of the images and get it to line up right. Anyone have any suggestions?

I use windows image view and set it to center and rotate to fit (not resize) and thats it. The dvd covers i'm using are the standard from supermediastore.com, the 100 for 25$ deal.

Also, one last thing, I've printed a lot of dvds and covers and the worst part is always trimming the cover down. My paper cutter is getting dull and I'm wondering what most of you guys use. If I could find a razor sharp blade that would just slide accross the paper to cut it I think that would be much better, I just want something better then this plain paper cutter.

    Thanks for the help

I use PhotoShop - I made a template and sized it at 7.25"H x 10.75"W. I then download a cover from http://www.cdcovers.cc/covers.php (or I make my own using downloaded front and back images from DVD Empire). I then resize the jpegs to fit the template, and voila! Instant cover.

As for cutting the paper, I use a Fiskars rotary cutter which I bought at Costco (you can also get it a Staples/Office Depot, etc.)

    Good luck!
