  1. Ok I am trying to hook my computer up to my tv, first my computer is a

    AMD 2800+
    1 gig ram
    GeForce 6800 GT 256 MB

    I had to use the s-video to the yellow cord becuz my tv dose not have s-video on the back, but when I plug it in to video in and to my computer, the computer sees a TV but nothing comes up on the tv, I set channels but eaither its the same cable channel or a fuzzy one. Maybe my tv is too old but any one have any idea on what to do? do i need a program to help me? thanks for any input

    Did you try switching to the VIDEO (or AUX) input on your TV?

  3. i looked for it but i dont think my tv has it i brought my other TV in to check if it really works and it dose come up on this tv, just not my other one but this one i brought in has s-video and all the video 1, 2 and stuf, just comes in grey and is hard on the eyes, i tryed my other tv agian but still nothing, i noticed on this tv i brought in has a defualt channel set to input 1 and it comes up, but i cant find anything like that on my other tv :\ both are pretty new too, so i cant think of anything else

    The "yellow cord" is an adapter cord, right? Pehaps it is bad. Or pehaps something is wrong with the TV. (Connector?)

    Can you hear the audio? If you can hear the audio, try a new video cable.
    If the picture is still bad with the new video cable, the problem is probably in the TV.

    yeah, i just switched TV's with a better one, 40 inchs and it works, only problem was it was all grey then i just updated my drivers and it works, thanks for tryin to help but i think you are right when you say its the tv
