  1. Hi all,
    excuse my poor english.
I plug the video-out of a roland sampler to the video-in of my hauppauge wintv who usually works fine with an RCA or a s-vhs connector.
The image is scrolling up continuously. It doesn't go fast but it's scrolling and annoying.
When I set it up on my tv it works fine.
I don't understand, it's like the old screens when we could set the horizontal and vertical sync(?) But I don't have those settings on my hauppauge. Do you know a software which can do that ?
I tried with virtualdub, but no.
I found this information about the sampler's output :
"the PAL colour encoder which signal is encoded in the phase of the 4.43MHz colour carrier" and i don't know what to do with that.
I'm only interested in preview, i don't record at all.
    Help me please.

Is your card expecting a PAL or NTSC signal for input ?
If it gets the wrong one, you could get this effect.

  3. Pal signal.
    I tried all the supported formats by the card : NTSC ( M 443 ) PAL ( B G H I D K M N NCOMBO ) SECAM ( L L' )
When i put a pal signal from an other source it works fine.
Do you know a software who can scroll down a preview then i could have a stable image ?
