    I sometimes like to take an image snapshot using the Save Snapshot function in the Preview window. I generally use interlaced footage. Is there any way to eliminate or reduce the interlace artifacts? I know there is a temporal shift in each field that complicates this. I would appreciate any suggestions.

    Vegas will still cap to project settings.

    I usually use VLC to screencap. It respects currently active deinterlace settings.
