  1. Hi all...I have managed to burn my vcd and have it work on my dvd player but there's only one problem......there's no audio commin out...when I try the same vcd on my xing mpeg player the sound comes but when I try it on my dvd player the sound doesn't ccome...could it be because I burned the vcd on a re-writable cd and dvd players or any cd players of that matter can't read sounds from re writable cd's or could it be that I did audio in layer two from TMPGENC?????

  2. Hi ibadk!
    OK .... Pop quiz :

    - What's the make & model of your DVD player?
    - What encoder did you use?
    - What audio settings did you use to encode?

Answer these and we'll (probably) have enough info to start helping you!

CD-RW? Either your DVD player will or won't recognise them - simple as that. There's no player I know that plays the video and not the audio!

TMPGenc audio encoding, whilst not being the best quality in the world, does meet the VCD specification, but only IF YOU SET IT RIGHT!!!
    (ie. 224kb/s 16bit 44.1kHz stereo)

Hope to speak to you soon ......

    Sue xxx
