  5. The TDK 50 pack -R discs have a TTG02 media code (TDK).

The Fuji 8x -DVDs 25 pack for $8.99 have a ProdiscF01 media code.

    Just FYI.

Taiwan TDK 8x DVD+R could be CMC or it could be Ricoh.

It probably depends on what the individual Staples stores have. I doubt there are that many 2x spindles still around...

Just got back from Compusa on a snowy day in western NY. I found alot +R and those were made in Japan. There was only one -R spindle left and it was made in Taiwan. I didn't buy any though.

I passed the TDK made in Taiwan and grabed 2 25-packs of Fuji from Best Buy made in Taiwan as well ($8.99 a piece). The media ID is ProdiscF01. I'm not sure if this one is better than TDK or not. I used a few last night and the play back seemed to be fine. I'll try a few more tonight and if the play back is perfect, I might several more packs.

I picked up a 50 pack DVD-R of TDK at Fred Meyer. Made in Taiwan, but media code shows TTG02. Price was $19.99 as well, and I got a 10% employee discount. I had bought a 15 pack about 2 weeks earlier, and media code was TDKG02. Guess I lucked out on both of these. No problems burning on my A06.
