  1. I burnt a DVD with 60 video clips on it, one after another, with a number in the bottom left corner that changed each time the video changed. When I play the DVD on my computer's DVD player, it looks fine and I can see the numbers, but when I play it on a TV's DVD player (I tried three different ones) the bottom part of the videos are cut off, and you can't see the number. Does anyone have any idea why this might be? Any help would be greatly apprecciated.

What did you use to burn the files ?

Most editors, and many DVD authoring packages, have a feature called Safe Areas. Turn this on, and anything falling outside the Action Safe area probably won't be seen on most TVs. Inside the Title Safe area will almost always be seen.

If you want your numbers to be visible, put them inside the Title Safe area, or resize your clips and put a black border around them.

  4. I burnt the files using Nero. I didn't see an option for safe areas but I'll check again, thanks.

If you just dumped them in Nero and let it do all the work, then you probably will have no control over it. How did you put the number on there ?
