  1. I use a program called " Memories On TV " for slideshow type productions. In the past I have made VCD final productions. I am trying to make a DVD....Each time I try the program tells me I need an MPEG 2 plug in ???...Is there a way around this without doing the obvious ...$$$$$....I like the program & all it's features but I would like to produce a DVD Final.

    Can someone please help ?????

I have tried other programs....like..Nero Vision....but there are too many restrictions & the panning, effects & transitions are not the same.

    Thanks.

    MLOR.

I'm going to be nice and assume that this is not a request for warez.

The way "around this" is to buy it, or use something else. You need MPEG-2 encoding for most "DVD creation" software.

  4. Hi,

I've written a gui for creating slideshows: DVDslideshowGUI - which is free.

You can import all kinds of imageformats, add text, background, add wav music, add transitions and render to ex. .m2v and mp2/ac3 with the QuEnc encoder and preview with Media Player Classic.

The files rendered can be used in GUI for DVDauthor / DVDauthorGUI where you can make menus ect.

But at the moment it can generate m2v/mp2/ac3 files, which you easily throw in on a dvd with one of the free Dvdauthor guis.

    Have fun,

I do too, that's why I paid $14.95 for the plug-in. It was worth it to me.
