I am facing lotsa problems - newbie.

Hi

I been facing several problems with my new bought Pioneer DVR-108 drive.

My DVR is internal unit with external usb case. (external dvr).

i use ISO buster to convert vcd to mpg files.

My first attempt of burning:

I use tmpgenc dvd author software to burn dvd-video files and half way,
it shows error message: Internal Scsi Error.

my second attempt of burning:

i use nero burning rom version 6.6.0.1 to burn. and it was successful.

but ended up with jerking/squeaking sound while playing it.

What is the problem here ?

VCD audio is 44.1KHz sampling rate and DVD spec is 48.1 KHz, likely that is the problem when you used Nero. TMPGEnc DVD Author will resample the audio for you so that is the software that I'd recommend when burning VCD to DVD.

As for the SCSI Error I can only guess...too fast a burn speed, bad disk, slow computer or ??? Maybe someone else has an idea.
