Minnetonka Discwelder Chrome v2.06 produces an image file with extension *.dim
I tried to convert it to iso but my pc players do not play only cyberlink powerdvd prompted to download CPPM audio features to play the image file
other players refused to open the file
Is there any way to convert or verify if this image file is payable and plays right ?
    thank you

open it with ultraiso -> I guess you only have to rename it to ISO -> use daemon tool to mount the image as virtual drive

  4. I was able to load it with Alcohol to a virtual drive and then just play that like any other DVD. If it doesn't work, then I would assume that the DVD will not work in a standalone player.

    Hope that helps...

  5. I have a silly question about this. I'm not sure what is trying to be accomplihed here. With Diskwelder you are making a DVDA. DVDAs, just like SACDs won't play in standard DVD players. If what you want to do is make something that plays in standard DVD players, it looks like you may have spent an awful lot on the software, but want to make something for older players. To play these new discs you must purchase a new audiophile deck. I just got Pioneer that received some great reviews for only $99.00.

Minnetonka Discwelder Chrome v2.06 owns a 'mirror' option, which allows you by a single click to transform the whole DVD-Audio project (Audio_TS) into a DVD-Video (Video_TS) as AC3 -> now you got both on one disc!
If your DVD-Player supports DVD-Audio it uses the AOBs, if not (like most of those players) it uses the VOBs

I hope this time I catched the point 8)

    bye Daphy
