    It depends on what type of tool you are using for your encoding. In TMPGEnc, you have to set each "project" then you can add it into a batch processing. Do a search on Batch encoding, you find TONS of hits.

    just this once. . .

    Batch encoding can mean several things, but for me,
    Batch 1:
    --------
    * settings/advanced/[x]SourceRange
    find your "fight" scene, mark with "startFrame" and "endFrame"
    buttons, OK, OK
    * Output file name: "fight.mpg"
    * now press ctrl+S and save it

    Batch 2:
    --------
    * settings/advanced/[x]SourceRange
    find your "love making" scene, mark with "startFrame" and "endFrame"
    buttons, OK, OK
    * Output file name: "love making.mpg"
    * now press ctrl+S and save it

    Batch 3:
    --------
    * settings/advanced/[x]SourceRange
    find your "crying" scene, mark with "startFrame" and "endFrame"
    buttons, OK, OK
    * Output file name: "crying.mpg"
    * now press ctrl+S and save it

    Next,
    * ctrl+B
    * clcik Add button
    * select (or multi select) your .tpr files
    * click Run button

    That's BATCH encoding for me.

    No need to cut commercials. To time consuming!
    You'll figure it all out sooner or later.
