Okies totaly sorry i'm a newbie i just brought my self a dvdrw and wanna give it a go so i have some movies i would like to burn and some episodes i wanna get on dvdr so i went out and brought some dvdr's and came back and ahh burn avi file to disc but it didnt play on my dvd play so i went asking around and alot of people sed to use this site so here i am right so i need some help on burning AVI files to a dvdr so they will play on a dvd player i checked the site but i couldnt find any thing or maybe i aint looking anyways any help would be great thansk

    p.s

    1 dont just throw programs at me need some sort opf guide
    2 dont say just get a divx dvd player
    3 i'm am teh noobie :P

  3. errr which of thoese programs is the fastest to encode or whateva i hear it take some what 3 hours to do 1 movie is there faster option

    Sorry it depends on ram and cpu power for converting. There is no way to make it super fast (unless you have a supercomputer mainframe at your disposal ).

    (even on the newest computers it will take time to convert avi to mpg)
