    Hey,

    When I go to capture from VHS, the playback of audio is extremely bad. Tried using PCM codec, and in VirtualDub and AVI_IO etc.

    Any suggestions? Its weird.

    For starters: how do you capture audio (and video) ? How do you describe "bad": low dynamic, noisy, distorted, artifacts ... ?

    I capture the audio/video through VirtualDub normally, and bad I mean distorted/scratchy barely recognisible sound. I think I might know why it wasnt working though so I will give it a test and write back.

    What I meant: what kind of hardware are you using for capturing: firewire device/TV In/Win TV card or what else ?
