  1. So I bought Fraps a little while ago (a big step, since I could barely afford it anyway) and started to record what was supposed to be a series on youtube, but ended up getting some terrible audio desync where my input audio was ahead of my game and recorded audio. (Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogT3J2BoQdc&feature=related notice how my responses happen before my friend even says anything. My input is also quiet, but I fixed that.)

I took a look at an earlier post on this site, but it was from quite a while ago and none of the answers helped. I do have the latest version of Fraps.

I can barely even hear your friend there... How are you mixing your audio sources?

The person you can barely hear is me... I'm taking the video and audio directly from what Fraps recorded without altering it at all. Again, the volume is not the problem. That's an easy fix. The problem is that my input of off from the other audio and I can't separate it with the editing software I'm using.

You didn't answer the question. What are you doing to mix the game audio, friend's audio, and your audio together?

My friend is on Skype, my game is on my computer, and I have my audio input to my computer. Fraps records all three at once, but only my input lags behind.
